To report an absence, call the 24-hour Attendance Line: 952-848-4102 with the following information: 

• Student's name
• Student's grade
• Student's teacher
• Date of absence
• Reason for absence
• Your name and relationship to the student

For planned absences:

If you know in advance that your students will be absent from school for a family vacation, personal matter, athletic event or any reason, please complete the Pre-arranged Absence Form at least five days prior to the absence.

The Portal (i.e., Parent Portal or LaunchPad) serves as the landing space for accessing and updating important information throughout your child's time in Edina Public Schools. Edina Public Schools uses Infinite Campus as its student information system (SIS) and Schoology as a virtual classroom. Both of these programs and more are available through a single sign-on portal.
